It all started with a Texas Instruments TI-99/4A “Home Computer” back in the early 80s. To me, code was magic. Instead of writing a spell on a piece of paper, you punch it in with your keyboard and it lives! Inspired by the instant satisfaction of building something digital, I continued over the years to design and develop software architectures, always looking for that moment of joy when finding something alive inside my computer. As my systems became more and more complex, I found it harder and harder to share my joy in building my hidden architectures. So today I focus on interactive systems and user experience, making sure my users (and clients) are happy using my systems, just as I am building them (my systems, not my users and clients).

In my spare time, I like to hunt for trends and patterns in culture and technology.
That’s right.

In the physical world, I kept a few chairs warm in places such as -

Netica LTD, Israel (CTO)

As a Chief Technology Officer I helped design and develop various web applications and user interfaces in fields ranging from Video Conferencing, Interactive Television and Data Visualization to Network Service Creation, Resource Management and Control Centers. In this role I design information architectures, applicative protocols and APIs and advise during the early concept stage. When time permits I help to develop Flash applications.

Interaction Design Institute, Ivrea (Freelancer)

For IDII, I designed an information architecture for, and developed, a web-based social software UI prototype and a dynamic presentation tool.

Zapa Digital Arts, Israel (Information Architect)

Under various titles, I helped to design and develop a self-propagating network content distribution system which hosted various viral media components.
