Apple cation for iPhone

The goal this application aims to measure time trying to avoid the use of numbers or letters while making the user feel the time passing.
Opposing to the traditional timers this method allows overtime to be used in situations such as presentations when the presenter is knowingly drafting in to overtime. By setting the timer, the user define the duration of the entertaining animation. The animation is a seed that at the beginning is dropped on dirt and slowly starts developing in a plant to become a tree, actually an apple tree. On the apple tree grows a fruit that eventually will get ripe and in time will fall to the ground. When the fruit falls the time is over, but the circle of life (animation) goes on with the apple getting overripe and then rotten, till it will disappear absorbed by the ground… showing the user is inexorably overtime!

No Vibration, No Crash

While examining the behavior of mobile phones, we noticed that when they are left on a surface such as a table, the vibration might cause the phone to plunge to the floor and crash, literary.
A possible solution we imagine for the iPhone is a firmware addition or an application, that will detect state of the phone while laying flat on a surface (using the accelerometer) and simply turn the vibration is off, automatically.
